North Hills High School students will be holding their 5th annual Thon on March 2, 2019 from 5pm-11pm. For six hours these motivated, caring high school students will not be able to sit down; but will have fun doing it! The money raised during this event will be donated to both the Make-A-Wish foundation and the Children’s Hospital Fund. Since 2015 the NH Thon has raised over $42,000. The students of North Hills High School are very excited to be organizing such a worthwhile event.
The NH Thon will take place in the Middle School gyms. Over the two gyms and connecting hallways students will be able to participate in a Glow-in-the-Dark dance party; a sports themed area with a large inflatable obstacle course, volleyball, beanbag toss, and more; and of course food.
We are changing a few things this year. First, all students signing up will sign up individually. There will not be teams this year. Instead we will see which grade level can be best represented. This is a pride thing!
The cost to participate in the event is $25 per person. The fee covers the cost of admission, a t-shirt, and food and drinks all night.
